Mobile camera app developer JellyBus has announced that its app, PicsPlay (formerly FX Photo Editor) has signed a promotion marketing partnership with Samsung’s App Store to celebrate the release of the Galaxy S3. The new partnership with Samsung adds to the list of partnerships that the company has formed, other partners being AT&T, NTT DOCOMO and SK Telecom.
CEO of JellyBus, Sejoong Kim also announced that the company is working alongside three top game companies on a new business, Fazecat (Paladog), Hotdog Studio (Fluffy Diver) and Enterfly (Smile Plants).
“It’s an honor to work together with top and leading ventures and I believe that good things will come from it. As this is a different industry, we are working hard to create better synergy. We are especially thankful to those in the business who did not hesitate to join us for this.”
Kim is passionate about helping other Korean ventures, another reason why the company’s HDR FX app has teamed up with advertising platform AD fresca.
“I believe that the venture community needs collaboration between startups.”
JellyBus has been successful with many of its camera apps and PicsPlay on Android has over 1 million users while HDR FX on iOS has 2.15 million users. Qbro, available on both platforms has also reached 1.2 million downloads. The apps support several languages including English, Japanese and Arabic. JellyBus is currently getting ready to launch its new app named “Beauty Booth” which is expected to be released sometime within the next few weeks.
