Twice a month on a Tuesday morning at KOTECH in Yeoksam-dong, a venture policy forum is held. The group is made up of 30 professors, researchers, experts and other persons related to ventures. The primary goal of this breakfast forum is to research and prepare alternative policies for ventures in a new age.
Another purpose of the meeting is to improve proposals by finding new policy ideas through the sharing of information and discussion.
The last meeting was on the morning of May 8. Those participating included academics KAIST Professor Lee Minhwa, Hanyang University Professor Lee Byeong-hee, UOS Professor Lee Chun-soo, KAIST Professor Bae Jong-tae, plus KOVA CEO Nam Min-woo and SOHO Chairman Park Gwang-hwae. The meeting contained a presentation about research projects regarding the official policy proposal, to be submitted to the government in December.
A total of 21 research projects were presented and by combining similar papers, a total of 16 papers were assessed.
1 – Restoration and development of fair trade for ventures – Lee Min-hwa, Lee Chun-woo
2 – Strategies to globalize ventures – Lee Min-hwa
3 – Affects of joint system development – Lee Min-hwa
4 – Innovation of the KOSAQ system – Lee Min-hwa
5 – Research on development of the venture validation system – Lee Min-hwa
6 – Research on fostering of society helping ventures – Bae Jong-tae
7 – Research on the invigoration of angel investment and the angel market. – SBA
8 – Design of an education program for entrepreneur educators – Lee Hyeon-sook
9 – Research on stock option systems – Lee Min-hwa
10 – Research on the structure of the support network for entrepreneurship – Lee Min-hwa
11- Mediation of the current unsound situation and proposals for development regarding venture policy financing – Jeon Sang-gyeong
12 – Plans to foster the understanding of entrepreneurship and business professionals – Bae Jong-tae, Lee Hyeon-sook
13 – Investigation of the prime age for entrepreneurship and research on entrepreneurship support plans – SBA
14 – Research on medical venture possibilities – Bae Jong-tae
15 – Determination of the value of an open innovation exchange and science and technology information business – SBA
16 – Research about Korea’s entrepreneurship education – Kim Gil-seon
If anyone has any other suggestions or proposals that should be recommended to the government for the venture ecosystem, please feel free to submit them.

매월 2번째 화요일 오전에 역삼 한국기술센터에서 벤처정책포럼이 열립니다. 이 자리에는 벤처 관련 대학교수, 연구원, 현장전문가 등 30여 명이 모입니다. 조찬을 겸한 이 포럼은 새로운 시대에 걸맞는 벤처 정책과 관련한 연구 및 대안 마련이 주 목적입니다.
또한 벤처 관련 고급 정보의 공유와 토론의 장을 마련하고 정책 아이디어를 지속적으로 발굴함으로써 정책 제언 기능을 강화하자는 것이 목적입니다.
지난 8일 오전에도 조찬 모임이 있었는데요. 이 자리에는 이민화 카이스트 교수를 비롯해 한양대 이병희 교수, 시립대학교 이춘우 교수, 카이스트 배종태 교수 등 학계 관계자는 물론 벤처기업협회 남민우 회장, 한국소호진흥협회 박광회 회장 등 업계 관계자도 참석해 12월에 정부에 정식으로 제출될 정책 과제 제안서를 위한 연구 과제 제안 발표가 있었습니다.
총 21개 연구과제가 제출되었고 중복 과제를 합쳐 모두 16개 벤처정책 연구과제들이 각각 평가되었습니다.
