The Ministry of Knowledge Economy announced on July 19, that it would support entrepreneurs planning to start IT businesses with technology development funding. The MKE will offer up to 200 million won in funding to found and develop technology over two years to students, graduate students and researchers with creative and innovative ideas or technology.
Those with the best chance of being chosen will be in the information and communications industry such as mobile integration, cloud services, networking equipment and big data.
Next month the MKE will receive applications from August 16 to August 20 through the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology website and select applicants based on technology factors, commercial viability and innovativeness. A seminar will be held at 2pm, July 27 at the Seoul KyoYuk MunHwa HowKwan.
