International media outlet The Wall Street Journal will be opening a “pop-up store” on the popular Garosu-gil on July 10.
An event to celebrate the opening of the WSJ Cafe will take place on July 10 and 11 in the form of a mini-forum with ten interviews. Speakers include the CEO of SundayToz Kevin Lee, Minister Yoon-seon Cho from the Ministry of Gender Equality, CEO of I-um Hee-eun Park and Jimmy Rim, CEO of KCube Ventures.
All sessions are free and reservations can be made online. The event will also be broadcast live through both YouTube and live blogging. Those watching in other parts of the world will be able to ask questions via the Google Hangout. The event can also be followed on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus by searching for #wsjcafeseoul. The location of the WSJ Café on Gangnam’s famous Garosu-gil puts it close to many companies in the startup community.
