DemoDay has signed a contract with telecommunications company KT just three months after launching the startup portal site. The partnership offers support to around 1000 startups that are registered on DemoDay through KT’s Cloud Incubation Center by providing one billion won in cloud infrastructure free-of-charge.
Startups receive two servers, 2 terabytes of data, storage and CDN service for a period of six months. After this, companies are still offered various benefits. KT will also help to provide promotional opportunities, marketing support and the use of offline meeting space.
The services are available to any startup or entrepreneurs preparing their startup that are currently registered on DemoDay. Other startups can register via the DemoDay site.
DemoDay CEO Seung-guk Na commented on the partnership saying, “We hope that programs like this KT startup support program which offers real help to startups, will change the previous condescending and self-serving approach by conglomerates. We plan to actively pursue other various support programs with more major companies.”
