Earlier in March, Newsweek published an article that claimed a man named Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto was the father of Bitcoin. Not only has Nakamoto vehemently denied his involvement in the creation of the internet currency, but is now asking the internet for support.
Nakamoto’s law firm built the website NewsweekLied and is now rallying for donations towards the Dorian Nakamoto Legal Defense Fund to sue Newsweek. His accusations toward Newsweek include falsified quotes and fabricated conversations with Nakamoto’s family members.
NewsweekLied also goes into detail about the questionable nature of Newsweek’s article, as well as supporting analysis’ written by journalists from Reuters and Fox Business.
Dorian’s Legal Defense Fund is currently accepting donations by credit card, debit, and of course, Bitcoin.
