On February 5th, Seedstars World held their final startup competition event in Geneva, Switzerland. The final event was hosted at the Lift Conference.
Each of the ten startup finalists were given a chance to compete, pitch, and win up to $500k in equity investment at the final event.
Phillipines-based startup Salarium was awarded the Seedstars grand prize after pitching their payroll SaaS solution. Salarium already boasts notable traction, including DHL as a signed client.
Krowdpop (KpopUnited) was selected as one of the top 10 finalists. They joined 4 other Asian finalists to qualify for the Seedstars World Crowd Fund via European crowdfunding platform Seedrs. European investors must invest a minimum of 100L to participate in the equity crowdfunding campaign.
Krowdpop is also a crowdfunding platform that allows fans to directly show their support to bring their favorite K-Pop artists to their respective countries.
