기후테크 스타트업 ‘의식주의'(대표 윤태이)는 ‘텐셀 모달 머드 요실금 팬티’가 ‘2024 서울어워드 우수상품’으로 최종 선정 되었다고 밝혔다.
서울산업통상진흥원(SBA)이 주관하는 서울어워드는 매년 엄격한 심사를 통해 각 카테고리에서 최고의 상품을 선정하고, 국내 및 해외판로 개척과 홍보 등 제품 확장에 도움을 주는 역할을 한다.
텐셀 모달 머드 요실금 팬티는 의식주의에서 독자 개발한 특허 기술(천연 광물질을 포함하는 인체 친화적 염색방법 및 이를 이용하여 제조되는 저자극 언더웨어, 특허 출원번호 : 10-2023-0160317)를 바탕으로 만들어졌으며, 여성들의 요실금 불편을 해소할 수 있는 제품이다.
‘의식주의’는 국내 출산 여성 40%와 50대 이상 여성의 약 30%가 요실금 증상을 겪으면서 대외 활동시 부피가 큰 제품으로 인해 외견상 문제를 겪는다는 사실을 발견하고, 외부 활동에도 불편하지 않고 착용 여부가 티 나지 않도록 ‘텐셀 모달 100수’를 요실금 팬티에 적용해 제품을 개발했다.
의식주의 윤태이 대표는 “해외 시장에서 요실금 시장이 커지고 있어, 일본과 미국 등 수출을 통해 한국의 지속 가능한 소재인 ‘보령 머드’로 천연 염색한 기능성 요실금 팬티를 알릴 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
한편 의식주의 텐셀 모달 머드 요실금 팬티는 한국여성경제인협회가 운영하는 쇼핑몰 ‘여우핫딜’에서 여성기업 우수제품으로 선정된 바 있으며, 우수 상품 선정을 기념으로 오는 2월 3일부터 2월 16일까지 2주간 특별 할인 이벤트 진행예정이다.
