인공지능(AI) 언어 데이터 기업 플리토는 지난 17일 오후 콘텐츠 발송 서비스 ‘자버’와 AI 다국어 커뮤니케이션 기술개발을 위한 업무협력 협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 AI 다국어 커뮤니케이션 서비스 기술을 향상시키고, 중장기적인 협력 체계를 구축하는 것을 목표로 한다. 양사는 이번 협약을 통해 기업 고객 대상의 알림 메시지 서비스를 외국인 고객으로까지 확장할 계획이다.
협약에 따라 플리토와 자버는 ▲다국어 커뮤니케이션 사업 발굴 및 상호 세일즈 협력 체계 마련 ▲실시간 통번역 솔루션과 관련한 고객과의 상호작용 서비스 기술 공동 개발 ▲다국어 고객 안내 서비스 개발 및 챗봇 기능 향상을 위한 데이터 구축 협력 등을 진행할 예정이다.
특히, 플리토의 AI 통번역 기술과 자버의 콘텐츠 발송 서비스를 결합하여 새로운 사업 모델을 개발하고, 이를 통해 글로벌 비즈니스 분야에서 시너지를 창출할 계획이다. 또한, 자버 서비스를 이용하는 기업들이 미국, 일본 등 해외 시장으로 진출할 때 AI 통번역 솔루션을 접목해 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화하는 방향으로 협력할 예정이다.
플리토 강동한 CTO는 “이번 협약을 통해 양사가 보유한 기술력과 경험을 바탕으로 기업들의 다국어 서비스 도입을 촉진하게 되어 의미가 크다”며, “더욱 가치 있는 글로벌 커뮤니케이션 솔루션을 제공할 수 있도록 AI 언어 데이터 기술을 지속적으로 고도화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Pluto Signs MOU with Javer
Artificial intelligence (AI) language data company Pluto announced on the 20th that it signed a business cooperation agreement (MOU) with content delivery service 'Jabber' on the afternoon of the 17th for the development of AI multilingual communication technology.
