원유니버스는 제3자배정유상증자를 통해 액션스퀘어로부터 100억원을 투자받았다고 밝혔다.
원유니버스는 이번 투자를 바탕으로 한국 본사와 베트남 호치민의 개발 스튜디오를 중심으로 게임 개발에 집중하고, 웹3(Web3) 생태계 구축에도 힘쓸 계획이다.
앞서 원유니버스는 2023년 글로벌 블록체인 게임 플랫폼 ‘갈라(Gala)’와 협력하여 웹3 게임 ‘챔피언스 아레나’를 론칭했으며, 이와 관련한 다수의 웹3 특허를 보유하고 있다. 또한, 지난해 기술특례상장을 위한 기술성 평가에서 나이스평가정보와 한국기술신용평가로부터 모두 ‘A등급’을 받았다.
베트남 호치민 지사에는 150명 규모의 비주얼 테크 스튜디오를 운영하고 있으며, 핵심 인재들을 중심으로 개발 스튜디오를 집중적으로 육성하고 있다.
고세준 원유니버스 대표는 “급변하는 글로벌 환경 속에서 암호화폐 규제 완화와 블록체인 친화 정책에 대한 기대감으로 글로벌 웹3 시장이 다시 활성화될 것”이라며, “투자유치를 통해 블록체인 생태계를 적극적으로 구축하고 있는 액션스퀘어와 협력 관계를 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Won Universe Attracts 10 Billion Won in Investment
Won Universe announced that it received an investment of 10 billion won from Action Square through a third-party allocation paid-in capital increase.
Based on this investment, One Universe plans to focus on game development centered around its headquarters in Korea and its development studio in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and also work to build a Web3 ecosystem.
