진매트릭스(대표이사 김수옥)는 현지시간으로 오는 6일까지 아랍에미리트 두바이 월드 트레이드 센터에서 열리는 국제 진단 전문 전시회 ‘메드랩 2025(Medlab Middle East 2025)’에 참가해 주력 제품을 선보인다고 밝혔다.
메드랩은 중동 및 아프리카의 진단∙의료기기 전시회로, 진매트릭스는 지난 2021년부터 5년 연속 ‘메드랩’에 참가하는 중이다. 전시회 측에 따르면, 지난해에는 총 6억 7천만 달러 규모의 사업 가치를 창출한 바 있으며, 올해는 전세계 40개국에서 800개 이상의 기업과 약 2만여명의 업계 관계자가 참가할 것으로 예상된다.
진매트릭스는 이번 전시에서 호흡기 감염(RI) 진단, 성매개 감염(STI) 진단, 인유두종바이러스(HPV) 진단, 급성 장염(GI) 진단 등 고성능 다중 분자진단 제품 ‘네오플렉스(NeoPlex)’의 다양한 라인업을 소개한다. 최근 해당 지역 내에 수출이 증가하고 있는 호흡기질환 제품군(RI)을 포함해, 성매개 감염 제품을 중점적으로 선보인다는 방침이다.
진매트릭스 관계자는 “호흡기 감염 및 성매개 감염 제품이 특히 주목받는 지역으로, 관련 제품의 판매 증진에 박차를 가할 계획”이라며 “세계적인 규모의 전시회인 만큼 브랜드 인지도를 높여 글로벌 시장 확대와 신규 사업 기회 발굴에 집중하겠다”고 강조했다.
