스타트업 성장 파트너인 디캠프(대표 박영훈)가 대한민국 경찰의 미래 치안을 책임지기 위해 본격 나선다. 디캠프는 7일 서울 마포 소재 프론트원에서 경찰청 미래치안정책국, 과학치안진흥센터 R&D 본부 등 주요 관계자들을 비롯해 디캠프가 지원하는 스타트업 10개사가 참여한 가운데 사업설명회를 가졌다.
이번 설명회는 지난달 디캠프와 경찰청 간 치안산업 분야 스타트업 성장에 공동으로 기여함을 내용으로 하는 협약이 체결되면서 그 일환으로 이뤄졌다. 디캠프가 지원 중인 스타트업은 경찰청의 미래 치안 서비스를 고도화하는데 참여하며, 경찰청은 스타트업사의 사업을 검증하는 기회를 부여해 상호 간 장기적인 비즈니스 파트너로 성장할 수 있는 발판이 마련된 것이다.
2시간 가량 진행된 설명회에서는 경찰청의 미래치안정책국과 과학치안진흥센터 R&D 본부 주관으로 교통안전, 생활안전, 과학수사, 사이버 안전 등과 관련 향후 미래치안에 대한 현안과 수요를 설명했다. 협업 사례로 본 히스토리 및 체크리스트를 제안하는 자리에서는 스타트업사들이 심도 있는 질문을 쏟아내며 열기를 끌어올렸다.
경찰청이 사전에 공유한 미래 치안 관련 교통안전, 생활안전, 과학수사, 사이버 안전 등의 주제들에 대해 관련성 있는 스타트업의 서비스 소개도 이어졌다. 스타트업들만의 혁신적인 아이디어도 자유롭게 제안하는 시간을 가져 K-치안의 고도화에 한층 가능성을 높였다.
경찰청은 올해 문제 해결형 R&D 과제 발굴과 현장 경찰관을 위한 다양한 인적, 물적, 기술적 지원을 위한 연구개발사업을 확대하는 것을 기본 방향으로 삼고 다양한 핵심 과제를 추진할 방침이다. 특히 R&D 사업만도 작년 대비 74억이 증액되어 17개 사업에 640억 원의 예산을 투입해 과학기술 기반의 경찰 수사 역량 강화에 나선다. 대내외의 불확실성으로 스타트업계의 성장 격차가 커져 나가는 속에서 디캠프가 지원하는 스타트업들이 경찰청과 협력해 새로운 도약을 할 수 있는 전환점이 될 전망이다.
디캠프의 박영훈 대표는 “올해는 프리A와 시리즈A 단계의 스타트업 중 ICT, 딥테크, 기후테크 주제로 분기당 10개사를 선발하고 있다”며 이번 설명회를 통해 “디캠프가 지원하는 우수한 스타트업들이 성장과 동시에 공익에도 기여할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 내다본다”고 밝혔다.

Decamp, in partnership with the National Police Agency, strengthen support for future security startups
Startup growth partner D-Camp (CEO Park Young-hoon) is stepping forward to take charge of the future security of the Korean police. On the 7th, D-Camp held a business briefing session at Front One in Mapo-gu, Seoul, with key officials from the National Police Agency’s Future Security Policy Bureau, the Science Security Promotion Center R&D Headquarters, and 10 startups supported by D-Camp in attendance.
This briefing session was held as part of the agreement signed last month between D.Camp and the National Police Agency to jointly contribute to the growth of startups in the security industry. The startups supported by D.Camp will participate in the advancement of the National Police Agency’s future security services, and the National Police Agency will provide opportunities to verify the businesses of startups, thereby creating a foundation for mutual growth as long-term business partners.
In the briefing session that lasted about 2 hours, the National Police Agency’s Future Security Policy Bureau and the Science Security Promotion Center R&D Headquarters explained the current issues and demands for future security related to traffic safety, life safety, scientific investigation, and cyber safety. In the place where the history and checklist were proposed as examples of collaboration, startup companies raised the heat by asking in-depth questions.
The National Police Agency also introduced related startup services on topics such as traffic safety, life safety, scientific investigation, and cyber safety related to future security that it had previously shared. It also provided time for startups to freely suggest their own innovative ideas, further increasing the possibility of advancing K-security.
The National Police Agency plans to pursue various key tasks this year with the basic direction of discovering problem-solving R&D tasks and expanding R&D projects for various human, material, and technical support for field police officers. In particular, the R&D project alone will increase by 7.4 billion won compared to last year, and a budget of 64 billion won will be invested in 17 projects to strengthen police investigation capabilities based on science and technology. As the growth gap in the startup world is widening due to internal and external uncertainties, it is expected that the startups supported by D.Camp will be a turning point where they can make a new leap forward by cooperating with the National Police Agency.
Park Young-hoon, CEO of Decamp, said, “This year, we are selecting 10 companies per quarter from among startups in the Pre-A and Series A stages, with the themes of ICT, deep tech, and climate tech,” and through this briefing session, he said, “We expect that this will be a great opportunity for excellent startups supported by Decamp to grow while contributing to the public good.”

DeCamp (PDG Park Young-hoon), un partenaire de croissance de startup, se porte volontaire pour assumer la responsabilité de la sécurité future de la police coréenne. Le 7, Decamp a organisé une séance d'information commerciale à Front One à Mapo-gu, Séoul, avec la participation de responsables clés du Bureau de la politique de sécurité future de l'Agence de police nationale, du siège de la recherche et du développement du Centre de promotion de la sécurité scientifique et de 10 startups soutenues par Decamp.

Dans le cas où l’historique et la checklist ont été proposés comme exemples de collaboration, les startups ont fait monter la pression en posant des questions approfondies.
L'Agence nationale de police a également présenté des services de démarrage connexes sur des sujets tels que la sécurité routière, la sécurité des personnes, les enquêtes scientifiques et la cybersécurité, qui ont été partagés à l'avance. En donnant le temps aux startups de proposer librement leurs propres idées innovantes, la possibilité d’améliorer encore K-security a été considérablement augmentée.
Cette année, l'Agence nationale de police prévoit de poursuivre diverses tâches clés avec pour objectif principal de découvrir des tâches de recherche et développement de résolution de problèmes et d'élargir les projets de recherche et développement pour fournir divers soutiens humains, matériels et techniques aux agents de police sur le terrain. En particulier, le projet de R&D à lui seul a augmenté de 7,4 milliards de KRW par rapport à l'année dernière, et un total de 64 milliards de KRW seront investis dans 17 projets visant à renforcer les capacités d'enquête policière basées sur la science et la technologie. Alors que l’écart de croissance dans le monde des startups s’élargit en raison d’incertitudes internes et externes, on s’attend à ce que ce soit un tournant où les startups soutenues par Decamp pourront faire un nouveau bond en avant grâce à la coopération avec l’Agence nationale de police.
Park Young-hoon, PDG de Decamp, a déclaré : « Cette année, nous sélectionnons 10 entreprises par trimestre parmi les startups des phases Pre-A et Series A, avec les thèmes des TIC, de la deep tech et de la climate tech », et à travers cette séance d'information, il a déclaré : « Nous espérons que ce sera une excellente opportunité pour les excellentes startups soutenues par Decamp de se développer tout en contribuant au bien public. »
