위브링(WeBring)과 글로벌 맞춤형 숙박 서비스 플랫폼 맘스테이(Momstay)가 전략적 업무 협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 10일 밝혔다. 이번 협약을 통해 양사는 한국에 거주하는 외국인 유학생 및 장기 체류자들을 위한 종합적인 주거 및 생활 지원 서비스를 협력적으로 제공할 예정이다.
위브링은 한국에 거주하는 외국인 유학생, 근로자, 장기 체류자들을 대상으로 숙박, 교통, 렌트, 문화투어, 보험, 금융, 법률 상담 등 다양한 생활 지원 서비스를 제공하며 빠르게 성장하는 글로벌 스타트업으로 주목받고 있다. 맘스테이는 대학교를 중심으로 다양한 숙소와 주거 환경 정보를 제공하는 맞춤형 숙박 예약 플랫폼이다.
이번 협약을 통해 두 기업은 ▲외국인 유학생 및 장기 거주자를 위한 맞춤형 숙박 서비스 제공 ▲생활 정착 지원 프로그램 확대 ▲공동 마케팅 및 프로모션 등을 추진하며 협력할 계획이다.
위브링은 맘스테이와 협력을 통해 외국인들이 신뢰할 수 있는 숙소를 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 지원하며, 한국 생활을 보다 편리하게 만들 수 있는 통합 플랫폼으로 자리매김할 예정이다.
위브링의 조미영 대표는 “외국인 유학생들에게 가장 큰 고민 중 하나가 숙소 결정인데, 이번 협약을 통해 이를 해결하는 데 집중할 것”이라며, “위브링은 숙박 연결에 그치지 않고, 외국인들의 한국 생활 전반을 지원하는 통합 라이프스타일 플랫폼으로 성장하고 있다”고 말했다.
