더벤처스는 UC 버클리(UC Berkeley), 일리노이대학교 어바나-샴페인(University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) 등 세계 유수 대학 6곳에서 선발된 우수한 벤처 스카우트를 통해 글로벌 스타트업 투자 파이프라인을 구축하고, 혁신적인 기술을 보유한 딥테크(Deep Tech) 스타트업을 조기에 발굴하는 데 주력할 예정이다. 특히 대학 내 기술력을 보유한 연구실 창업팀에 집중하여 초기 단계에서부터 우수한 기술 기반 창업 기업을 발굴하고, 글로벌 투자 네트워크를 확장하여 경쟁력을 갖춘 초기 기업의 성장을 적극 지원할 계획이다.
더벤처스는 ‘대학생 벤처 스카우트 프로그램’을 지금까지 7회 운영하며, 대학생 및 예비 창업자를 신속하고 효율적으로 발굴해왔다. 누적 212명이 수료한 이 프로그램은 대학생들에게 벤처캐피털(VC)과 스타트업 생태계에 대한 체계적인 교육을 제공하고, 더벤처스의 투자 의사 결정 과정과 집행 프로세스를 학습할 기회를 제공해왔다. 참가자들은 더벤처스 심사역과 실제 투자 심사 과정에 함께 참여하며 618건의 딜 소싱(Deal Sourcing)과 53건의 2차 인터뷰 참관을 진행했으며, 그 결과 8건의 투자를 성사시킨 바 있다.

The Ventures, operating the 'Global Venture Scout Program'
The Ventures announced on the 12th that it will expand its ‘University Student Venture Scout Program’ globally and operate a ‘Global Venture Scout Program’ targeting overseas university students. The program, which has been completed by a total of 212 people, provides systematic education on venture capital (VC) and the startup ecosystem to college students, and provides an opportunity to learn about The Ventures' investment decision-making process and execution process. Participants have participated in the actual investment review process with The Ventures' reviewers, conducted 618 deal sourcing, and observed 53 secondary interviews, resulting in 8 investments.
