한국전파진흥협회(RAPA)는 아마존웹서비스(AWS) 코리아와 협력하여 ‘AWS Cloud School’ 9기 교육생을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 이번 교육 과정은 고용노동부의 K-디지털트레이닝 ‘디지털선도기업아카데미’ 사업의 일환으로, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 분야의 전문 인력 양성을 목표로 하고 있다.
‘AWS Cloud School’은 취업준비생과 직무 전환 희망자를 대상으로 하며, 교육은 2025년 9월 4일까지 총 1,050시간에 걸쳐 진행된다. 수업은 AWS Training & Certification 팀의 전문 강사들이 맡아 리눅스, 네트워크 기초부터 최신 클라우드 기술인 쿠버네티스, DevOps 등 다양한 클라우드 기술을 다룬다. 또한 교육생들에게는 AWS 클라우드 서비스 체험 기회와 AWS Skill Builder 구독권이 제공되며, AWS 공인 자격증 취득을 위한 시험비 전액 지원도 이루어진다.
실무 역량 강화를 위해, AWS 현직 솔루션즈 아키텍트들이 제공하는 프로젝트 멘토링과 AWS 공인 강사의 전문 교육도 포함된다. 교육생들은 또한 AWS의 혁신적인 기업 문화를 체험할 수 있는 워크숍에 참여하여 실무 능력을 크게 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.
‘AWS Cloud School’은 지난 8기까지 208명의 교육생을 배출했으며, 졸업생들은 삼성전자, KT, LG유플러스, 현대오토에버 등 국내 대기업 및 AWS 파트너사에 취업한 사례가 많다. 특히, 3명의 수료생은 AWS 코리아, AWS 캐나다, AWS 아일랜드에 취업하며 해외 취업 성과도 이어졌다.
AWS 관계자는 “AWS Cloud School을 통해 한국의 디지털 인재 양성에 동참하게 되어 뜻깊다”며, “이번 교육 과정이 교육생들에게는 커리어의 성공적인 시작이, 국가적으로는 디지털 전환을 위한 경쟁력 제고에 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
한국전파진흥협회 관계자는 “AWS Cloud School은 학생들에게 클라우드 컴퓨팅 분야에서 요구되는 실제 기술을 습득할 수 있는 기회를 제공하며, 이 교육을 통해 배출되는 인재들은 국내외 클라우드 시장을 이끌어갈 핵심 전문가로 성장할 것”이라고 강조했다.

The Radio Promotion Association of Korea (RAPA) announced that it is recruiting the 9th class of 'AWS Cloud School' students in cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Korea. This training course is part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Training 'Digital Leading Company Academy' project, and aims to foster experts in the field of cloud computing.
'AWS Cloud School' is for job seekers and those looking to change jobs, and the training will last for a total of 1,050 hours until September 4, 2025. Classes are taught by expert instructors from the AWS Training & Certification team, and cover a variety of cloud technologies, from Linux and network basics to the latest cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and DevOps. In addition, trainees will be provided with opportunities to experience AWS cloud services and AWS Skill Builder subscriptions, and full support for exam fees for obtaining AWS official certifications will be provided.
To enhance practical capabilities, project mentoring by AWS current solution architects and professional training by AWS certified instructors are also included. Trainees are also expected to greatly improve their practical capabilities by participating in workshops where they can experience AWS’s innovative corporate culture.
'AWS Cloud School' has produced 208 students through the last 8 classes, and many of the graduates have found employment at major domestic companies such as Samsung Electronics, KT, LG Uplus, and Hyundai Autoever, as well as AWS partner companies. In particular, three graduates have found employment at AWS Korea, AWS Canada, and AWS Ireland, continuing their overseas employment success.
An AWS official said, “It is meaningful to participate in nurturing digital talent in Korea through AWS Cloud School,” and “We hope that this training course will help students successfully start their careers and help the country enhance its competitiveness for digital transformation.”
An official from the Korea Radio Promotion Association emphasized, “AWS Cloud School provides students with an opportunity to acquire practical skills required in the field of cloud computing, and the talents produced through this education will grow into key experts who will lead the domestic and international cloud markets.”
