외국인 대상 중장기 임대 플랫폼을 운영하는 주식회사 엔코위더스(대표 오정훈)가 20억원 규모의 프리시리즈A 투자를 유치했다고 10일 밝혔다.
2020년 설립된 엔코위더스는 외국인을 위한 중장기 임대 플랫폼 ‘엔코스테이’를 운영하고 있다. 엔코위더스는 단순한 임대 정보 제공을 넘어 외국인이 한국에서 안정적으로 거주할 수 있도록 다국어 지원, 현지 생활 정보 제공, 계약 절차 간소화 등 다양한 서비스까지 제공한다.
엔코위더스는 이번 투자를 통해 기술 개발과 마케팅 강화, 인재 채용을 강화하여 서비스 품질 개선하며 국내외 시장으로의 확장을 추진할 계획이다.
투자사 관계자는 “최근 엔데믹 전환으로 외국인 유입이 증가하면서 외국인 대상 프롭테크 서비스에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다.”며, “엔코위더스가 외국인의 주거 편의성을 높이는 데 기여할 것으로 기대되며 국내뿐만 아니라 글로벌 시장에서도 지속적인 성장이 가능할 것”이라고 평가했다.
오정훈 대표는 “이번 투자를 계기로 국내뿐만 아니라 해외 시장으로의 진출도 가속화할 계획”이라며, 서비스 확장을 통해 외국인의 한국 정착 문제를 해결하는 플랫폼으로 성장하고 외국인과 지역사회를 더욱 긴밀하게 연결하는 글로벌 문화 교류의 연결고리(Global Culture Bridge) 역할을 강화하겠다” 고 밝혔다.
한편 엔코위더스는 서울관광플라자 입주 관광스타트업 졸업기업으로 서울시, 서울관광재단, 서강대학교 등과 협력하여 외국인 거주 인프라를 확대하며 차별화된 경쟁력을 확보하고 있다.

CEO Oh Jeong-hoon said, “With this investment, we plan to accelerate our advance into overseas markets as well as the domestic market,” and added, “Through expanded services, we will grow into a platform that solves the problem of foreigners settling in Korea and strengthen our role as a global culture bridge that more closely connects foreigners and local communities.”
Meanwhile, Encowithers, a graduate of the tourism startup company that moved into the Seoul Tourism Plaza, is expanding the infrastructure for foreign residences in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Tourism Foundation, Sogang University, etc., and is securing differentiated competitiveness.

2020年に設立されたエンコウィダースは、外国人向けの中長期賃貸プラットフォーム「エンコステイ」を運営している。エンコウィダースは、単純な賃貸情報提供を超えて外国人が韓国で安定的に居住できるように多言語支援、現地生活情報提供、契約手続きの簡素化など多様なサービスまで提供する。
エンコウィダースは今回の投資を通じて技術開発とマーケティング強化、人材採用を強化してサービス品質改善し、国内外市場への拡張を推進する計画だ。
投資会社関係者は「最近のエンデミック転換で外国人の流入が増加し、外国人向けのプロップテックサービスに対する需要が急増している」とし、「エンコウィダースが外国人の住居の利便性を高めることに寄与すると予想され、国内だけでなくグローバル市場でも持続的な成長が可能だろう」と評価した。
オ・ジョンフン代表は「今回の投資をきっかけに国内だけでなく海外市場への進出も加速化する計画」とし、サービス拡張を通じて外国人の韓国定着問題を解決するプラットフォームに成長し、外国人と地域社会をさらに緊密に連結するグローバル文化交流の連結環(Global Culture Bridge)の役割を強化する」と明らかにした。
一方、エンコウィダースはソウル観光プラザ入居観光スタートアップ卒業企業で、ソウル市、ソウル観光財団、西江大学などと協力して外国人居住インフラを拡大し、差別化された競争力を確保している。

Encowithers 成立于 2020 年，运营针对外国人的中长期租赁平台“Encostay” 。 Encowithers除了提供租房信息以外，还提供多语言支援、当地生活信息、简化合约手续等多种服务，帮助外国人在韩国稳定居住。
