창업진흥원(원장 직무대행 최열수)은 중소벤처기업부(장관 오영주)와 함께 4월 3일부터 5일까지 인도 뉴델리에서 개최하는 Startup Mahakumbh 2025 전시회에 참가할 창업기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
Startup Mahakumbh 2025는 인도상공회의소연합(Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, FICCI)에서 주관하며, 올해 2번째를 맞이하는 스타트업 전시회이다. 지난해 Startup Mahakumbh 2024에는 나렌드라 모디 인도 총리 등 인도의 많은 인사들을 포함하여 4만 8천여명의 참관객과 1,300여개의 전시 기업이 참여하였다.
올해 Startup Mahakumbh 2025는 ‘BIGGER, BETTER, BOLDER’라는 주제로 전년보다 더 확대하여 약 3천여개 기업과 5만여명 참관객이 몰릴 예정이며, 인공지능(AI), 사이버 보안, 바이오테크 및 헬스테크 외 농업과 기후테크 등 12개 분야 주제로 전시가 진행될 예정이다.
이번 중소벤처기업부의 Startup Mahakumbh 2025 전시회 지원사업에 참여하는 창업기업에게는 ▲전시 마케팅 컨설팅 및 시장교육 ▲K-Startup관 전시부스 ▲현지 투자자·바이어 매칭 및 네트워킹 ▲기업지원금(기업별 최대 150만원) 등을 종합적으로 지원할 예정이다.
이번 공고에서 전시회에 참가할 창업기업 11개사 중 8개사를 공개모집할 예정이며, 참가자격은 공고일 기준 업력 7년 이내 창업기업이다. 신산업 분야의 창업기업의 경우 10년까지 지원 가능하다. 나머지 3개사는 중소벤처기업부에서 지원하는 글로벌 스타트업 육성(아웃바운드) 프로그램(’22~24)을 수료한 기업 중 ‘우수’ 판정을 받은 창업기업들을 대상으로 모집할 예정이다.
참가기업은 서면평가(3월 1주)와 발표평가(3월 2주) 과정을 거쳐 최종 선정될 예정이며, 전시 마케팅 현지시장 교육 등 본격적인 지원프로그램은 3월 3주부터 진행될 예정이다.
최열수 원장 직무대행은 “인도는 포스트 차이나를 꿈꾸는 거대 시장으로 경제 성장률 7%가 넘으며, 세계 각지의 자본이 흘러드는 전략적으로 매력적인 시장이다”며 이번 인도 전시회를 통해 국내의 유망한 창업기업이 인도 시장과 글로벌 시장에 진출할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.“라고 밝혔다.

Startup Promotion Agency, recruiting startups to participate in 'Startup Mahakumbhu 2025'
The Korea Institute for Startups and Entrepreneurship Development (Acting President Choi Yeol-soo) and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo) announced that they are recruiting startups to participate in the Startup Mahakumbh 2025 exhibition to be held in New Delhi, India from April 3 to 5.
Startup Mahakumbh 2025 is a startup exhibition organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and is in its second year. Last year, Startup Mahakumbh 2024 attracted 48,000 visitors and 1,300 exhibiting companies, including many Indian dignitaries such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This year, Startup Mahakumbh 2025 will be held under the theme of 'BIGGER, BETTER, BOLDER' and will be expanded further than last year, with approximately 3,000 companies and 50,000 visitors expected. Exhibitions will be held in 12 fields including artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, biotech, healthtech, agriculture, and climate tech.
Startups participating in the Startup Mahakumbh 2025 exhibition support project of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups will be comprehensively supported with ▲exhibition marketing consulting and market education ▲K-Startup exhibition booth ▲local investor/buyer matching and networking ▲corporate support funds (up to 1.5 million won per company).
In this announcement, 8 out of 11 startup companies participating in the exhibition will be publicly recruited, and the eligible participants are startups that have been in business for less than 7 years as of the announcement date. In the case of startups in new industries, support is available for up to 10 years. The remaining 3 companies will be recruited from among startups that have completed the Global Startup Support (Outbound) Program ('22-24) supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and have been judged as 'excellent'.
Participating companies will be selected through a written evaluation (1st week of March) and a presentation evaluation (2nd week of March), and full-scale support programs such as exhibition marketing and local market education will begin in the 3rd week of March.
Acting President Choi Yeol-soo said, “India is a huge market that dreams of becoming a post-China economy. With an economic growth rate of over 7%, it is a strategically attractive market where capital from all over the world flows in.” He added, “Through this India exhibition, we plan to support promising domestic startups to enter the Indian and global markets.”

チェ・ヨルス院長職務代行は「インドはポストチャイナを夢見る巨大市場で経済成長率７％を超え、世界各地の資本が流れる戦略的に魅力的な市場だ」とし、今回のインド展示会を通じて国内の有望な創業企業がインド市場とグローバル市場に進出できるように支援する計画だ。

Cette année, Startup Mahakumbh 2025 se tiendra sous le thème « BIGGER, BETTER, BOLDER » et connaîtra une expansion supérieure à celle de l'année dernière, avec environ 3 000 entreprises et 50 000 visiteurs attendus. Des expositions seront organisées dans 12 domaines, dont l'intelligence artificielle (IA), la cybersécurité, la biotechnologie, la technologie de la santé, l'agriculture et la technologie climatique.
Les startups participant au projet de soutien à l'exposition Startup Mahakumbh 2025 du ministère des PME et des startups bénéficieront d'un soutien complet avec ▲ des conseils en marketing d'exposition et une éducation au marché ▲ un stand d'exposition K-Startup ▲ la mise en relation et la mise en réseau des investisseurs/acheteurs locaux ▲ des fonds de soutien aux entreprises (jusqu'à 1,5 million de wons par entreprise).
Dans cette annonce, 8 des 11 startups qui participeront à l'exposition seront recrutées publiquement, et les participants éligibles sont des startups en activité depuis moins de 7 ans à la date de l'annonce. Pour les start-ups dans de nouveaux secteurs, un soutien est disponible pour une durée maximale de 10 ans. Les trois entreprises restantes recruteront des startups ayant terminé le programme Global Startup Fostering (Outbound) (2022-2024) soutenu par le ministère des PME et des startups et ayant été jugées « excellentes ».
Les entreprises participantes seront sélectionnées par le biais d'une évaluation écrite (1ère semaine de mars) et d'une évaluation de présentation (2ème semaine de mars), et des programmes de soutien à grande échelle tels que le marketing d'exposition et l'éducation au marché local débuteront la 3ème semaine de mars.
Le président par intérim Choi Yeol-soo a déclaré : « L’Inde est un marché immense qui rêve de devenir une économie post-chinoise. Avec un taux de croissance économique de plus de 7 %, c’est un marché stratégiquement attractif où afflue le capital du monde entier. » Il a ajouté : « Grâce à cette exposition sur l’Inde, nous prévoyons de soutenir les startups nationales prometteuses pour qu’elles pénètrent les marchés indien et mondial. »
