자이언트스텝은 20일, ‘2024 앤어워드 광고 대상’에서 ‘디지털 광고&캠페인’ 부문 정부/공공/지자체 기관 분야에서 그랑프리(Grand Prix)를 수상했다고 밝혔다. 이번 수상은 자이언트스텝의 XR 콘텐츠 제작 기술력을 다시 한번 입증하는 계기가 되었다.
‘앤어워드’는 한국디지털기업협회가 주관하고, 과학기술정보통신부, 문화체육관광부, 한국방송광고진흥공사, 한국인터넷진흥원이 후원하는 국내 대표 디지털 산업 시상식으로, 디지털 산업에 기여한 혁신적인 광고와 콘텐츠를 선정해 시상하는 행사다. 올해로 18회를 맞이한 이 시상식은 2월 28일 서울 삼성동 코엑스에서 열릴 예정이다.
이번 수상작은 서울시의 ‘남산XR스튜디오’ 개관 콘텐츠로, 서울의 대표적인 명소를 가상 공간으로 재현하여 변화무쌍한 무대를 선보이는 프로젝트이다. 이 콘텐츠는 서울시의 새로운 XR 사업을 효과적으로 알리기 위해 기획되었다.
자이언트스텝은 버추얼 프로덕션(Virtual Production) 기술을 활용하여 리얼타임 엔진의 실시간 렌더링 시스템과 트래킹 기술을 접목한 몰입형 콘텐츠를 제작했다. 기존의 크로마 촬영 방식과 차별화된 실시간 트래킹 데이터 녹화 기법을 도입하여 제작 과정에서 콘텐츠 확인이 용이해졌으며, 이러한 혁신적인 기술로 문화 예술인들이 보다 직관적으로 콘텐츠를 이해하고 몰입할 수 있는 환경을 제공했다.
자이언트스텝 관계자는 “지난 2024년 6월 ‘남산XR스튜디오’ 개관 콘텐츠를 처음 선보인 이후 ‘대한민국 디지털 광고 대상’에 이어 ‘앤어워드’에서 그랑프리를 수상하게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며, “앞으로도 지속적인 기술 개발과 독창적인 콘텐츠 제작을 통해 글로벌 XR 콘텐츠 시장에서 선도적인 역할을 이어갈 것”이라고 소감을 밝혔다.

Giantstep wins 2024 Anne Awards Grand Prix
Giantstep announced on the 20th that it had won the Grand Prix in the government/public/local government sector in the 'Digital Advertising & Campaign' category at the '2024 Ann Awards Advertising Awards'. This award was an opportunity to once again prove Giantstep's XR content production technology.
'And Awards' is a representative domestic digital industry awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Digital Enterprise Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Promotion Corporation, and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. It is an event that selects and awards innovative advertisements and contents that have contributed to the digital industry. This year's 18th awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on February 28th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
This award-winning work is the opening content of Seoul City's 'Namsan XR Studio', a project that recreates Seoul's representative landmarks in virtual space to present a variety of stages. This content was planned to effectively promote Seoul City's new XR project.
Giantstep has created immersive content by combining real-time engine’s real-time rendering system and tracking technology using Virtual Production technology. By introducing a real-time tracking data recording technique that is different from the existing chroma shooting method, it has become easier to check the content during the production process, and this innovative technology has provided an environment where cultural artists can understand and immerse themselves in the content more intuitively.

Giantstep remporte le Grand Prix des Anne Awards 2024
Giantstep a annoncé le 20 avoir remporté le Grand Prix dans la catégorie « Publicité et campagne numériques » dans la catégorie « 2024 Ann Awards Advertising Awards » dans la catégorie « Agence gouvernementale/publique/locale ». Ce prix a une fois de plus été l’occasion de démontrer la technologie de production de contenu XR de GiantStep.
« And Awards » est une cérémonie de remise de prix représentative de l'industrie numérique nationale, organisée par l'Association coréenne des entreprises numériques et sponsorisée par le ministère des Sciences et des TIC, le ministère de la Culture, des Sports et du Tourisme, la Korea Broadcasting Advertising Promotion Corporation et l'Agence coréenne de l'Internet et de la sécurité. Il s'agit d'un événement qui sélectionne et récompense les publicités et contenus innovants qui ont contribué à l'industrie numérique. La cérémonie de remise des prix, qui en est maintenant à sa 18e année, aura lieu le 28 février au COEX à Samseong-dong, à Séoul.
Cette œuvre primée est le contenu d'ouverture du « Namsan XR Studio » de la ville de Séoul, un projet qui recrée les monuments représentatifs de Séoul dans un espace virtuel pour présenter une variété de scènes.
