AI 스타트업 셀렉트스타는 3월에 열리는 세계 모바일 전시회 ‘MWC 2025’에서 GSMA(세계이동통신사업자연합회)와 협력해 ‘글로벌 AI 레드팀 챌린지’를 개최한다고 25일 밝혔다. 이 행사는 3월 5일 오후 12시 30분부터 2시 30분(현지 시각)까지 스페인 바르셀로나 Fira Gran Via Hall 6에서 진행되며, 글로벌 참가자들이 LLM(대형언어모델)을 대상으로 AI 시스템의 안전성, 신뢰성, 보안을 검증하는 과정을 선보인다.
이번 챌린지는 글로벌 규모로 열린 첫 번째 오프라인 AI 레드팀 챌린지로, 다양한 국가의 참가자들과 여러 LLM이 함께 투입되는 대회이다. 참가자들은 실제 서비스 중인 LLM을 대상으로 모의 프롬프트 공격을 수행하고, 유해하거나 차별적인 결과 및 시스템 오용 등의 취약점을 찾아내어 검증하는 활동을 하게 된다.
셀렉트스타는 레드팀 플랫폼 운영, 문제 출제 및 응답 검수 등의 핵심 역할을 맡아 AI 레드팀 분야에서 쌓아온 기술력을 전 세계에 선보일 예정이다. 이 대회에는 LG유플러스의 소형 언어모델인 익시젠(ixi-GEN powered by EXAONE)을 비롯해, 아랍에미리트의 TelecomGPT, 말레이시아의 AIngineer 등 글로벌 AI 기업들이 참여하며, 다양한 LLM을 출제 모델로 선보인다.
또한, GSMA, 아랍에미리트 국영 통신사 E&, 대한민국 과학기술정보통신부, 인공지능 안전연구소 등 글로벌 AI 및 통신 업계를 대표하는 기관들이 후원사로 함께한다.
셀렉트스타는 지난해 국내에서 최초로 개최된 ‘생성형 AI 레드팀 챌린지’에서도 대표 파트너사로 참여했으며, 이번 ‘글로벌 AI 레드팀 챌린지’를 통해 기술력을 입증할 예정이다. 셀렉트스타 황민영 부대표는 “이번 행사를 통해 셀렉트스타의 AI 신뢰성 평가 솔루션을 세계 시장에 선보이고, 글로벌 AI 기업과의 협력을 강화해 나갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

SelectStar to Host 'Global AI Red Team Challenge' at MWC 2025
AI startup SelectStar announced on the 25th that it will host the 'Global AI Red Team Challenge' in cooperation with the GSMA (GSMA), the Global Mobile Association, at the 'MWC 2025', a global mobile exhibition held in March. The event will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 PM (local time) on March 5th at Fira Gran Via Hall 6 in Barcelona, Spain, and will showcase the process of global participants verifying the safety, reliability, and security of AI systems using LLM (Large Language Model).
This challenge is the first offline AI Red Team Challenge held on a global scale, and is a competition where participants from various countries and multiple LLMs participate together. Participants will perform mock prompt attacks on LLMs in actual service, and find and verify vulnerabilities such as harmful or discriminatory results and system misuse.
SelectStar will play a key role in operating the red team platform, issuing problems, and reviewing responses, and will showcase its technological prowess in the AI red team field to the world. This competition will be attended by global AI companies such as LG Uplus’ small language model, ixi-GEN (powered by EXAONE), TelecomGPT from the United Arab Emirates, and AIngineer from Malaysia, and will present various LLMs as problem models.
Additionally, organizations representing the global AI and communications industry, such as GSMA, E&C, the state-run telecommunications company of the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea, and the Artificial Intelligence Safety Research Institute, are participating as sponsors.
SelectStar also participated as a representative partner in the 'Generative AI Red Team Challenge' held for the first time in Korea last year, and plans to prove its technological prowess through this 'Global AI Red Team Challenge'. SelectStar Vice President Hwang Min-young said, "Through this event, we plan to introduce SelectStar's AI reliability evaluation solution to the global market and strengthen cooperation with global AI companies."

AI初创企业SelectStar25日宣布，将在3月举行的全球移动通信展会“MWC 2025”上与GSMA（全球移动通信系统协会）合作举办“全球AI红队挑战赛”。活动将于3月5日下午12:30至下午2:30（当地时间）在西班牙巴塞罗那Fira Gran Via 6号馆举行，将展示全球参与者使用LLM（大型语言模型）验证AI系统的安全性、可靠性和保密性的过程。
本次挑战赛是首次在全球范围内举办的线下AI红队挑战赛，参赛选手来自多个国家，并有多名LLM学生参与。参与者将对实际服务中的 LLM 进行模拟提示攻击，并识别和验证有害或歧视性结果以及系统滥用等漏洞。
SelectStar将承担运营红队平台、创建问题、审查响应等关键角色，向世界展示其在AI红队领域的技术实力。本次大赛将有LG Uplus的小型语言模型、ixi-GEN（powered by EXAONE）、阿联酋的TelecomGPT、马来西亚的AIngineer等全球AI企业参加，并展示各类LLM作为测试模型。

La startup d'IA SelectStar a annoncé le 25 qu'elle organiserait le « Global AI Red Team Challenge » en coopération avec la GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) au « MWC 2025 », une exposition mondiale sur la téléphonie mobile qui se tiendra en mars. L'événement aura lieu le 5 mars de 12h30 à 14h30 (heure locale) au Fira Gran Via Hall 6 à Barcelone, en Espagne, et présentera le processus des participants mondiaux vérifiant la sécurité, la fiabilité et la sûreté des systèmes d'IA à l'aide de LLM (Large Language Model).
Ce défi est le premier défi AI Red Team hors ligne organisé à l'échelle mondiale, avec des participants de divers pays et plusieurs LLM participants. Les participants effectueront des simulations d'attaques rapides sur les LLM en service réel, et identifieront et vérifieront les vulnérabilités telles que les résultats nuisibles ou discriminatoires et l'utilisation abusive du système.
SelectStar assumera des rôles clés tels que l'exploitation de la plateforme Red Team, la création de problèmes et l'examen des réponses, et présentera au monde ses prouesses technologiques dans le domaine de l'équipe rouge de l'IA.
