코드박스는 해외 유망 스타트업과 한국 벤처캐피털(VC) 간의 투자 연결을 강화하기 위해 ‘ZUZU 글로벌 스타트업 전용관’을 개설했다고 11일 밝혔다.
ZUZU 글로벌 스타트업 전용관은 한국 시장 진출을 원하는 해외 스타트업을 위한 맞춤형 딜소싱 서비스로, 국내 스타트업을 포함한 기존 ZUZU 투자자 매칭 서비스에는 541개의 스타트업 딜이 등록되어 있으며, 470여 곳의 VC가 이를 활용하고 있다. 이를 통해 250건의 매칭 요청이 성사되었으며, 활발한 투자 논의가 이어지고 있다.
이번 전용관 개설로 해외 스타트업들은 보다 체계적인 방식으로 한국 투자자들에게 IR(Investor Relations) 정보를 제공하고, 투자 유치 기회를 모색할 수 있게 되었다. 특히, 주한 스위스 대사관에서 추천한 스위스 스타트업들은 스위스 혁신청(Innosuisse) 지원과 스위스 혁신 네트워크(Swissnex) 관리 하에 한국에 소개된 바 있어, 높은 신뢰도를 자랑한다. 또한, 중소벤처기업부 산하 글로벌스타트업센터와 협력하여 한국 시장에 적합한 해외 스타트업 발굴을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
ZUZU는 향후 글로벌 기관 및 투자사와의 협력을 강화하고, 해외 유망 스타트업을 지속적으로 발굴하여 국내 VC들이 더 폭넓은 투자 기회를 탐색할 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다. 이를 통해 한국과 해외 스타트업 및 투자자 간의 연계를 강화하고, 글로벌 창업·투자 생태계 활성화에 기여할 방침이다.
코드박스 서광열 대표는 “국내 스타트업 발굴만큼이나 한국 VC들이 해외 투자처를 찾는 데 높은 관심을 가지고 있다”며, “ZUZU가 글로벌 투자 네트워크를 구축해 한국과 해외 투자자들이 더욱 원활하게 연결될 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Codebox announced on the 11th that it has opened the 'ZUZU Global Startup Center' to strengthen investment connections between promising overseas startups and Korean venture capitals (VCs).
ZUZU Global Startup Exclusive Hall is a customized deal sourcing service for overseas startups seeking to enter the Korean market. There are 541 startup deals registered in the existing ZUZU investor matching service, including domestic startups, and around 470 VCs are utilizing it. Through this, 250 matching requests have been successful, and active investment discussions are continuing.
With the opening of this dedicated center, overseas startups will be able to provide IR (Investor Relations) information to Korean investors in a more systematic way and seek investment attraction opportunities. In particular, Swiss startups recommended by the Swiss Embassy in Korea have been introduced to Korea under the support of the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse) and the management of the Swiss Innovation Network (Swissnex), boasting high reliability. In addition, we plan to continuously expand the discovery of overseas startups suitable for the Korean market in cooperation with the Global Startup Center under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
ZUZU plans to strengthen cooperation with global institutions and investment firms in the future, and to continuously discover promising overseas startups to support domestic VCs to explore a wider range of investment opportunities. Through this, it plans to strengthen the connection between Korean and overseas startups and investors, and contribute to the activation of the global startup and investment ecosystem.
Codebox CEO Seo Kwang-yeol said, “Korean VCs are just as interested in finding overseas investment opportunities as they are in discovering domestic startups,” and added, “ZUZU will build a global investment network to support more seamless connections between Korean and overseas investors.”

今回の専用館開設により、海外スタートアップはより体系的な方法で韓国投資家にIR（Investor Relations）情報を提供し、投資誘致機会を模索することができるようになった。特に、駐韓スイス大使館が推薦したスイススタートアップは、スイスイノベーション庁（Innosuisse）支援とスイスイノベーションネットワーク（Swissnex）管理の下で韓国に紹介されており、高い信頼性を誇る。また、中小ベンチャー企業部傘下のグローバルスタートアップセンターと協力して韓国市場に適した海外スタートアップ発掘を継続的に拡大していく計画だ。
ZUZUは今後のグローバル機関や投資会社との協力を強化し、海外の有望なスタートアップを継続的に発掘し、国内VCがより幅広い投資機会を探索できるように支援する予定だ。これを通じて韓国と海外スタートアップ及び投資者間の連携を強化し、グローバル創業・投資生態系活性化に寄与する方針だ。
