2025년 3월 12일, 트래블 테크 기업 타이드스퀘어와 에듀테크 및 AI Agent 개발 스타트업 라이브데이터가 ‘여행 AI Agent’ 개발을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협약을 통해 양사는 보유한 기술과 서비스를 결합하여 ‘여행 AI Agent’ 기술을 공동 개발하고, 서비스 상용화, 신규 사업 모델 발굴, 프로젝트 협력 및 마케팅 활동 등을 추진할 계획이다.
공동 개발되는 ‘여행 AI Agent’는 사용자의 여행 계획을 보다 스마트하게 지원하는 지능형 소프트웨어로, 몇 개의 키워드 입력만으로 최적의 여행 일정을 설계하고 항공권 가격 분석, 숙박 정보, 실시간 계획 조정, 동행자와 일정 공유 등 맞춤형 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
타이드스퀘어는 차세대 항공 플랫폼 ‘NDC(New Distribution Capability)’를 적용한 트래블 테크 선도 기업으로, 글로벌 항공사 및 호텔 그룹과 API를 연동한 강력한 데이터 네트워크를 보유하고 있다. 이번 협력으로 여행 AI Agent는 전 세계 여행 상품에 대한 상세 정보, 가격, 후기 등을 실시간으로 제공하며, 사용자가 원하는 결과를 신속하고 체계적으로 도출할 수 있도록 여행 데이터를 지원할 예정이다.
라이브데이터는 AI Tutor 및 sLLM(Specialized Large Language Model) 기술을 고도화한 경험을 바탕으로, 대규모 언어 모델(LLM) 및 AI Agent 도구 개발을 강화할 계획이다. 이를 통해 방대한 여행 데이터를 체계적으로 분석할 수 있는 기술을 확보할 예정이다.
양사는 ‘여행 AI Agent’의 개발과 상용화 후, 타이드스퀘어의 자사 여행 플랫폼인 ‘PRIVIA 여행’과 ‘투어비스’ 등에 AI Agent를 적용하여 고객이 더욱 효율적이고 만족스러운 여행 계획을 수립할 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다. 이를 통해 실시간 상품 및 가격 비교, 효율적인 일정 변경 등 다양한 서비스를 확장할 계획이다.

After developing and commercializing the 'Travel AI Agent', the two companies plan to apply the AI Agent to Tidesquare's own travel platforms, 'PRIVIA Travel' and 'Tourvis', to help customers establish more efficient and satisfactory travel plans.
