딥스톤인베스트먼트와 테레오가 공동 주관하여 오는 5월 28일 개최할 예정인 스타트업 데모데이 ‘데이파이브(Day 5)’ 신청 접수에 약 20개 기업이 지원하며 열띤 경쟁이 예상된다.
데이파이브는 창업 5년 미만의 유망 스타트업을 발굴하고, 초기 투자를 통해 빠른 성장을 지원하는 데모데이 기반의 프로그램이다. 올해 처음으로 시작된 본 프로그램은 창업 5년 미만의 스타트업을 대상으로 투자유치와 역량강화의 기회를 제공하는 것을 목표로 하여 매년 2회 진행 예정이다.
서류평가 및 인터뷰를 통하여 선정된 최대 10개 이내의 기업에게 데이파이브 개최 당일 투자자들 앞에서 피칭할 기회가 제공되며, 이 중 3개사에는 후속 지원을, 1개사에는 투자검토를 제공할 예정으로, 유망한 스타트업들의 관심이 뜨거웠던 것으로 보인다.
스마트농업, 그린바이오 등 농림식품 기업부터 패션, 뷰티, 스포츠테크 기업까지 다양한 산업군의 유망한 초기 스타트업들이 몰려 이번 데이파이브에 대한 기대감이 높아지고 있다. 신청 기업들은 Seed~Series A 단계의 스타트업으로, 초기 성장 가능성이 높은 기업들이다.
벤처･스타트업 스케일업과 투자를 주업으로 하고 있는 딥스톤인베스트먼트는 현재 국내 벤처투자시장이 점진적으로 회복이 되어 가고있지만, 초기 벤처투자 시장은 아직은 혹한기에서 벗어나지 못하고 있어, 이번 데모데이를 통해 우수한 초기기업을 선발하고 직접 투자할 예정이다. 특히 투자 이후에는 딥스톤인베스트먼트의 육성 프로그램인 D-Curve를 통해 초기 기업들의 스케일업을 적극 지원한다는 계획이다.

デイファイブは創業5年未満の有望なスタートアップを発掘し、初期投資を通じて急速な成長を支援するデモデーベースのプログラムだ。今年初めてスタートした本プログラムは、創業5年未満のスタートアップを対象に投資誘致と力量強化の機会を提供することを目指し、毎年2回進行予定だ。
書類評価及びインタビューを通じて選定された最大10社以内の企業に、デイファイブ開催当日投資家の前でピッチングする機会が提供され、このうち3社には後続支援を、1社には投資レビューを提供する予定で、有望なスタートアップの関心が熱かったものと見られる。
スマート農業、グリーンバイオなど農林食品企業からファッション、ビューティー、スポーツテック企業まで多様な産業群の有望な初期スタートアップが集まり、今回のデイファイブに対する期待感が高まっている。申請企業はSeed～Series A段階のスタートアップで、初期成長の可能性が高い企業だ。
ベンチャー・スタートアップスケールアップと投資を主業としているディープストーンインベストメントは現在、国内ベンチャー投資市場が徐々に回復になっているが、初期ベンチャー投資市場はまだ酷寒期から抜け出せず、今回のデモデーを通じて優秀な初期企業を選抜して直接投資特に投資後はディープストンインベストメントの育成プログラムであるD-Curveを通じて初期企業のスケールアップを積極的に支援する計画だ。

Une vingtaine d'entreprises se sont inscrites à la journée de démonstration de startups « Jour 5 », co-organisée par Deep Stone Investment et Tereo, qui doit se tenir le 28 mai, et une concurrence féroce est attendue.
Day Five est un programme basé sur la journée de démonstration qui découvre des startups prometteuses en activité depuis moins de cinq ans et soutient leur croissance rapide grâce à des investissements précoces. Ce programme, lancé pour la première fois cette année, vise à offrir des opportunités d’attraction d’investissement et de renforcement des capacités aux startups en activité depuis moins de cinq ans, et devrait se tenir deux fois par an.
Jusqu'à 10 entreprises sélectionnées par l'évaluation des documents et des entretiens auront la possibilité de présenter leur projet aux investisseurs le jour J, et trois de ces entreprises bénéficieront d'un soutien de suivi et une entreprise bénéficiera d'une revue d'investissement, montrant qu'il y a eu beaucoup d'intérêt de la part de startups prometteuses.
Les attentes pour le Day Five de cette année augmentent alors que des startups prometteuses en phase de démarrage issues de divers secteurs, allant de l'agriculture intelligente, de la bio-écologie et d'autres entreprises agricoles et alimentaires aux entreprises de mode, de beauté et de technologie sportive, se rassemblent ici. Les entreprises candidates sont des startups en phase d'amorçage à de série A et sont des entreprises à fort potentiel de croissance précoce.
Deep Stone Investment, spécialisé dans le développement et l'investissement de capital-risque et de startups, constate actuellement une reprise progressive du marché national du capital-risque, mais celui des entreprises en phase de démarrage n'est pas encore sorti de l'hiver rigoureux.
