와디즈의 투자 전문 자회사 와디즈파트너스가 ‘2025년 혁신소상공인 투자연계지원사업(LIPS Ⅱ, 이하 립스 2)’ 민간 운영사로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
립스 2는 중소벤처기업부 산하 소상공인시장진흥공단이 지정한 민간투자사가 유망한 소상공인에게 선투자 후 추천하면, 중기부가 사업화 자금을 매칭 지원하는 프로그램이다. 지원금은 민간투자금의 최대 3배, 2억 원 한도 내 경영 자금으로, 올해 지원 규모는 최대 300개 사로 예상된다.
와디즈파트너스는 2023년부터 ‘민간투자 연계형 매칭융자(LIPSⅠ, 이하 립스 1)’ 사업의 주관기관으로 선정되어 3년째 사업을 운영하고 있다. 립스 1은 민간투자사가 선투자 시 소상공인 기업에게 투자금의 최대 5배, 5억 원 한도 내 정책자금을 매칭 지원하는 사업으로, 올해 예산은 400억 원 규모다. 이번 립스 2 민간운영사 선정으로, 와디즈파트너스는 라이콘(LICORN) 분야의 기업가형 소상공인 육성에 특화된 벤처투자사로 인정받았다.
또한, 와디즈파트너스는 지난해 롯데홈쇼핑과 공동으로 ‘라이콘 펀드’를 출자했으며, 운용사로서 성장 잠재력이 높은 라이프스타일 및 로컬 브랜드에 집중 투자하고 육성할 계획이다. 와디즈파트너스는 2024년 모태펀드로 신설된 **‘라이콘 펀드’**의 최초 운용사(GP)로 선정되기도 했다.
소강섭 와디즈파트너스 대표는 “립스 2 민간 운영사로 선정됨에 따라, 와디즈파트너스의 투자를 받은 유망 기업들이 혁신 제품 개발과 콘텐츠 연구 개발에 집중할 수 있는 사업 운영 자금을 확보할 것으로 기대한다”며, “특히 올해는 와디즈가 넥스트브랜드와 공동 개발한 제품을 상반기 내에 와디즈 글로벌서비스를 통해 해외로 진출시키며, 신생 브랜드의 성장 파트너로서 역할을 강화할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

Wadiz Partners, an investment specialist subsidiary of Wadiz, announced that it has been selected as the private operator for the '2025 Innovative Small Business Investment Linkage Support Project (LIPS Ⅱ, hereinafter referred to as LIPS 2).
Lips 2 is a program in which the Ministry of SMEs and Startups provides matching funds for commercialization when private investment companies designated by the Small Business Market Promotion Agency under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups make advance investments and then recommend promising small businesses. The support funds are up to three times the private investment, or up to 200 million won, as management funds, and the support scale this year is expected to be up to 300 companies.
Wadiz Partners has been selected as the main institution for the 'Private Investment-Linked Matching Loan (LIPSⅠ, hereinafter referred to as LIPS 1)' project since 2023, and has been operating the project for the third year. LIPS 1 is a project in which private investment companies provide policy funds of up to 5 times the investment amount, up to a limit of 500 million won, to small and medium-sized enterprises when making a pre-investment. This year's budget is 40 billion won. With the selection of the LIPS 2 private operator this time, Wadiz Partners has been recognized as a venture capital firm specializing in fostering entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises in the LICORN field.
In addition, Wadiz Partners jointly invested in the 'Lycon Fund' with Lotte Home Shopping last year, and as an operator, plans to focus on investing in and fostering lifestyle and local brands with high growth potential. Wadiz Partners was also selected as the first operator (GP) of **'Lycon Fund'**, which was newly established as a mother fund in 2024.
So Kang-seop, CEO of Wadiz Partners, said, “With our selection as the private operator of Lips 2, we expect that promising companies that have received investments from Wadiz Partners will be able to secure operating funds to focus on developing innovative products and content research and development,” adding, “In particular, this year, we plan to strengthen our role as a growth partner for new brands by exporting products jointly developed with Next Brand to overseas markets through Wadiz Global Service within the first half of the year.”
