웹툰 생성형 AI 기업 라이언로켓(대표 정승환)이 캐논마케팅재팬(Canon Marketing Japan Inc)에서 진행한 ‘스파크미 [spark.me] 어워드’에서 AI 기술력으로 눈에 띄는 평가를 받으며 주요 기업으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 지난해 일본 최대 IT 박람회 ‘JAPAN IT WEEK’에서 만난 수 개의 일본 웹툰 기업과 협업을 논의한 후 꾸준히 일본 진출을 모색하던 중 들은 쾌거다. 이로써 라이언로켓은 하반기 일본 웹툰시장 내 영향력을 넓힐 기반을 다졌다.
‘스파크미 어워드’는 캐논마케팅재팬의 스타트업용 액셀러레이션 프로그램과 그룹내 사원을 대상으로 하는 프로그램이다. 디자이너의 감각을 보유한 ‘프로모터’가 공동 창업 지원자로서 어워드에 참가한 각 스타트업 협업·사업 검증을 지원하고, 액셀러레이션 기간에는 사업 창출 전문 지식을 보유한 ‘사업개발 액셀러레이터’가 동반 멘토링을 실시한다.
라이언로켓은 어워드에 네컷 만화를 그려주는 생성형 AI 서비스를 선보였다. 본인의 기존 그림 및 원하는 이미지 스타일과 프롬프트를 입력하면, 몇 초 만에 네컷의 인스타툰이 생성되는 서비스다. 이 서비스에는 창작자의 화풍을 학습해 10장의 학습 데이터만으로 고품질의 캐릭터를 구현하고, 캐릭터 고정, 동작 제어하는 라이언로켓의 독창적인 브레인부스팅 러닝방식이 적용됐다.
어워드에 참석한 79개 기업 중 미니 POC를 거쳐 10개 기업이 선정되었으며, 이 중 라이언로켓을 비롯한 4개의 기업이 최종 수상했다. 라이언로켓은 이중 유일한 한국 기업으로 “그림을 그릴 수 없는 사람도 라이언로켓의 젠버스를 통해 자신의 이야기를 그림일기처럼 기록할 수 있고, 이에 그치지 않고 생성한 인스타툰을 통해 공감대를 형성하고 커뮤니티를 만들 수 있다는 점”등이 긍정적인 평가를 받았다는 평이다.
아울러 주최측은 “AI로 만든 이미지의 경우, 저작권이 가장 중요한 이슈인데 라이언로켓의 젠버스를 이용해 창작한 결과물은 저작권이 문제가 되지 않는 점이 심사위원의 극찬을 받으며 유일한 한국기업으로 수상할 수 있었다”며 라이언로켓 젠버스의 독창적인 기술력을 평가했다.

Ryan Rocket wins Canon Marketing Japan's 'Spark Me Award'
Webtoon-generating AI company RyanRocket (CEO Seunghwan Jeong) announced that it was selected as a major company at the 'Spark.me Awards' hosted by Canon Marketing Japan Inc. for its outstanding AI technology. This is a great achievement that came as RyanRocket was steadily seeking to enter the Japanese market after discussing collaboration with several Japanese webtoon companies it met at 'JAPAN IT WEEK', Japan's largest IT trade show, last year. With this, RyanRocket has laid the foundation to expand its influence in the Japanese webtoon market in the second half of the year.
The 'Spark Me Award' is Canon Marketing Japan's startup acceleration program and a program for group employees. A 'promoter' with a designer's sense supports collaboration and business verification of each startup participating in the award as a co-founder, and during the acceleration period, a 'business development accelerator' with business creation expertise provides mentoring.
Ryan Rocket presented a generative AI service that draws four-panel cartoons for awards. It is a service that generates four-panel Instatoons in seconds by inputting the creator's existing drawings, desired image styles, and prompts. This service learns the creator's drawing style and implements high-quality characters with only 10 learning data, and Ryan Rocket's unique brain boosting learning method that fixes the characters and controls their movements was applied.
Among the 79 companies that attended the awards, 10 companies were selected through mini POCs, and 4 companies including Ryan Rocket were awarded the final prizes. Ryan Rocket is the only Korean company among them, and it received positive reviews for the fact that “even people who cannot draw can record their stories like a picture diary through Ryan Rocket’s Zenverse, and not only that, they can form empathy and create a community through the Instatoons they create.”
In addition, the organizers evaluated the unique technological prowess of RyanRocket Genverse, saying, “For images created with AI, copyright is the most important issue, but the results created using RyanRocket Genverse were highly praised by the judges for not having any copyright issues, allowing the award to be given to the only Korean company.”

「スパークミーアワード」はキヤノンマーケティングジャパンのスタートアップ用アクセラレーションプログラムとグループ内社員を対象とするプログラムだ。デザイナーの感覚を保有した「プロモーター」が共同創業志願者としてアワードに参加した各スタートアップ協業・事業検証を支援し、アクセラレーション期間には事業創出専門知識を保有した「事業開発アクセラレーター」が伴うメンタリングを行う。
ライアンロケットはアワードにネカット漫画を描く生成型AIサービスを披露した。本人の既存の絵や希望のイメージスタイルとプロンプトを入力すると、数秒でネカットのインスタトゥーンが生成されるサービスだ。このサービスには創作者の画風を学習し、10枚の学習データだけで高品質のキャラクターを実装し、キャラクター固定、動作制御するライアンロケットの独創的なブレインブーストランニング方式が適用された。
アワードに参加した79社のうち、ミニPOCを経て10社が選ばれ、このうちライアンロケットをはじめとする4社が最終受賞した。ライアンロケットは二重唯一の韓国企業で「絵を描くことができない人もライアンロケットのジェンバスを通じて自分の話を絵日記のように記録することができ、これにとどまらず生成したインスタトゥーンを通じて共感帯を形成してコミュニティを作ることができるという点」などが肯定的な評価を受けたという評価だ。
また、主催側は「AIで作ったイメージの場合、著作権が最も重要な問題だが、ライアンロケットのゼンバスを利用して創作した結果物は、著作権が問題にならない点が審査委員の絶賛を受けて唯一の韓国企業として受賞することができた」とライアンロケットゼンバスの独創的な技術力を評価した。

RyanRocket a présenté un service d'IA générative qui dessine des bandes dessinées à quatre panneaux pour les récompenses. Ce service crée un Instatoon à quatre panneaux en quelques secondes en saisissant votre dessin existant, le style d'image souhaité et l'invite. Ce service applique la méthode d'apprentissage unique de stimulation cérébrale de RyanRocket qui apprend le style de dessin du créateur, implémente des personnages de haute qualité avec seulement 10 données d'apprentissage et contrôle la fixation et le mouvement des personnages.
Parmi les 79 entreprises présentes à la cérémonie de remise des prix, 10 entreprises ont été sélectionnées via un mini POC, et parmi celles-ci, 4 entreprises, dont RyanRocket, ont reçu les prix finaux. RyanRocket est la seule entreprise coréenne parmi elles, et elle a reçu des critiques positives pour le fait que « même les personnes qui ne savent pas dessiner peuvent enregistrer leurs histoires comme un journal illustré grâce au Zenverse de RyanRocket, et pas seulement cela, elles peuvent développer un sentiment d'empathie et créer une communauté grâce aux Instatoons qu'elles créent. »
De plus, les organisateurs ont évalué les prouesses technologiques uniques de RyanRocket Genverse, en déclarant : « Pour les images créées avec l'IA, le droit d'auteur est la question la plus importante, mais les résultats créés à l'aide de RyanRocket Genverse ont été très appréciés par les juges car ils ne présentaient aucun problème de droit d'auteur, ce qui a permis de décerner le prix à la seule entreprise coréenne. »
