Artificial intelligence start-up company Minds Lab successfully received 7 billion Korean won investments. Main business is the construction of artificial intelligence ChatBot, big-data-based analysis of speech recognition, as well as Korean and English artificial intelligence applications, etc…
Minds Lab was chosen as innovative enterprises in August last year, have won 1 billion investment funds, which is set up for Kangwon Creative Economy InnoCenre by Naver including investment funds and venture investment. In August this year, they received 1 billion won investment funds from Naver, and successfully obtained venture investment and 6 billion won additional investment from large communications company LG u+.
This is the largest one-time investment in the South Korean domestic artificial intelligence start-ups, since then，Kangwon Creative Economy InnoCenre introduced total investment more than 11 billion won to enterprises who need support after setting up in May last year,.
Minds Lab will use this investment as stepping-stone to extend products services in many aspects, build artificial intelligence platform, intelligent audio and robot, intelligent consultants and so on, plans to enter the North American market, promote the establishment of North America Corporation.
At the same time, the Minds Lab support center that Kangwon Creative Economy InnoCenre is expected to start training the first artificial intelligence trainer AI-Tutor in South Korea rom September this year with Mind Lab.
