WISHUPON, a shopping wish list application, announced that it was selected by Station F, a startup campus based in Paris, France.
Station F is part of the French government’s initiative, La French Tech, to support the development of the start-up ecosystem, occupying 34,000㎡ or 366,000sq.ft. Over 30 Multi-national companies such as Facebook, Google, and LVMH are on site to incubate startups and operate investment support programs. It is said that 6 percent among all the applying startups from around 50 countries are accepted into Station F programs.
WISHUPON is an application where users can store their wish items from a number of shopping websites in one wish list and share them. This application startup is very active in setting foot in the European market, backed by a large French user base, which is next to a Korean one in size. The company also explained that it will accelerate its efforts in gearing up for the entry into the French market, making use of the opportunity of joining Station F. WISHUPON had been also selected by French startup incubator Paris&Co in March, and entered into an MOU with PICOM, the French competitiveness cluster of trade industries. Based on these past achievements, the startup is planning to seek ways to cooperate with French distribution conglomerates.
