City Cube, “Will Open an Office in Sangsu-dong Next February”

City Cube announced that it will be opening City Cube Sangsu-dong Office on the three floors in Sangsu Building which is located in Sangsu-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The official opening is scheduled to be in February, 2019.

City Cube Sangsu-dong Office will be designed as a multicultural center which combines books and contents business in accordance with the regional characteristics of Sangsu-dong, as it is near a cluster of more than 1,000 publishing houses. It will have a cultural space which combines a large park with arts, culture and design. In addition to individual office rooms and shared spaces, there will be separate areas for a studio where videos and podcasts can be made as well as meeting rooms where book clubs and seminars can be held.

Chief Executive of City Cube, Lee Seung-Hwan said “since Sangsu-dong Office will be located in the downtown area near Sangsu Station, it will be highly accessible and visible. It will also provide optimum convenience to businesses in the same building as it is adjacent to vibrant trade areas such as Shinchon and Hongdae” and added “we will create an office that serves as a salon for trendy books and contents for all by combining City Cube’s spatial identity as a Korean-style shared office and the business culture that is unique to such adjacent areas.
