Seoul XR Startups (SXS) held the final demo day of the Global VR Startups (GVS) program at SXS Incubation Center in Yangjae-dong on April 27th.
GVS is an accreditation program promoted by the Korea Creative Content Agency and SXS, which is designed to foster the domestic AR, MR, and VR content industries. In January, SXS selected 10 companies and provided office space, overseas expert mentoring, and IR coaching. The final demo day was held for the final inspection of the GVS program, which lasted about six months.
Four pitches were selected for their great performance: Like Corporation, a VR simulator synchronization platform, Code Rich, a VR sports training hardware, Bibimble, a mixed reality technology with no glasses, and Nfloyd, a VR game company that has Archfire VR. SXS will invest in the selected teams that received great evaluations.
On the other hand, Seoul XR Startup completed the 6-month accelerating program successfully and will provide various support measures for the growth of Industry 4.0 start-ups, such as AR, MR and VR.
