Mobile content and advertising startup Movilest has entered a partnership with global accelerator Numa as it gears up to enter Mexico and Latin America.
Movilest specializes in mobile advertising, content and game publishing. With this latest partnership, the company says it will now focus on distributing popular content from Korea in the Latin American market. It also plans to launch its flagship service Cocoin — a lock screen ad platform which offers rewards to users — on Mexico’s Google Play store later this month.
Numa, originally founded in France, helps accelerate startups in cities around the world and will support Movilest with mentoring, recruitment and future investment as it takes part in a four week program.
“We welcome the partnership with Movilest which has extensive experience in Korea, a country that leads the mobile industry,” said CEO of Numa, Coni Riveros. “The mobile industry in Latin America is growing rapidly, and Mexico has a high balance of paying mobile users. We look forward to working with other talented startups from Korea if we have the chance.”
Numa has hosted over 300 startups in its acceleration programs and has provided an average of 1 million euros in follow up funding to participating companies.
