Naver said that it will launch the Friends mini Minions line that applies Minions, Universal Studios’ famous character, to its smartspeaker line, Friends mini on July 26.
The Friends mini is Naver’s smartspeaker product line that is equipped with Clova, Naver’s AI platform. Its size is compact at 72×78.1×110mm weighing 268g, which makes it small and light enough to carry for outdoor activities while providing more convenience, such as 6-hour non-stop playing function. One of its features is that users can talk with the real voice of Bob, one of Minions’ characters. In addition, users can customize their speaker with various Minions facial expression stickers.
Using Clova, the newly smart speaker will offer various functions such as searching daily information such as weather and traffic information and using smart home function, while recommending music, location and providing English conversation function and singing kids songs. The Friends mini Minions will be available for purchase from July 26 in Naver Music Promotion, Clova online stores, and Line Friends stores throughout the country.
